This programme brings together the best of everything we do here at Beyond Chocolate to support you every step of the way as you transform your relationship with food and your body and revolutionise the way you approach weight-loss and body confidence.
If you’ve been hanging out at Beyond Chocolate, chances are you are looking for change. This is what we all want, right? To stop obsessing and feel ‘normal’ (whatever that means to you) around food. No more shame or guilt or agonising over every morsel that passes our lips. To be able to look in the mirror and not hate what we see. In short: to feel good about the way we eat and the way we look. Our 1 year programme is not for the faint hearted and if you’re looking for an intensive, far-reaching, supportive, blow-your-mind Beyond Chocolate experience – this is the one for you. Oh, and this comprehensive One Year Programme is perfect, even if you have done one or more of the courses before, they are worth doing again as you’ll be revisiting them in a different light and with a different focus and extensive support.
What happens at the Kitchen Table?
This is where it all happens. Combining live workshops, a fantastic retreat, telephone sessions, online coursework, forum membership and personalised feedback and guidance from authors and founders of Beyond Chocolate, Sophie and Audrey throughout the year, this is an unprecedented opportunity for you to go to come and (literally!) sit with us at the Kitchen Table and really work on your stuff around food, overeating, weight-loss, body image and much more.
Plus some Fairy Dust extras…
- The invaluable advantage of being in a community of like minded women. Women on the same journey as you. Women who speak the same language and know what you’re talking about.
- An entire 12 months to get down to business and make things happen. Practice the 10 Beyond Chocolate principles, day in, day out, so that they become second nature. Rehearse using your Beyond Temptation secret superpowers (yes, really!) to tame your overeating Gremlin and walk away from food without having to use willpower or feeling deprived. This year you will truly walk the talk.
- Loads of fans: surround yourself with a gang of supporters. Support and a bit of hand holding from Sophie and Audrey and all the wonderful Chocolate Fairies who are part of our team. Support and encouragement and ideas and generally feel good from the other diners at the Kitchen Table and support from the hundreds of fantastic women who hang out on our friendly and welcoming forum.
“Beyond chocolate has made a noticeable impact on my life. The course gave me invaluable tools to cope with an eating disorder that has haunted me for 16 years and at the time was totally controlling my life. I have increased my confidence and I am feeling happier in my body. We were encouraged to stay in touch with another participant for 8 weeks to continue the support. My chocolate chum has been wonderful and 9 months later we still chat for 30 minutes every week. Another lady on the course lives near me and we meet up regularly, I couldn’t have done it without them. When I focus on what the course taught me I don’t binge or purge or diet or starve. I just enjoy gorgeous food and socialising – something that I had never done before. I also lost weight after the course without trying which was a bonus. Practising this with like minded people on the course helped me to put it into practice in real life unlike reading a book (and I’ve read many!). I would recommend Beyond Chocolate to anyone who struggles to control their relationship with food, it has helped me enormously.” Victoria Gilholm, Wallingford
How do I bag myself a seat at the Kitchen Table?
Are you ready?
First and foremost you need to be sure that you are ready to make changes. Are you ready to explore unhelpful beliefs and behaviours? Are you ready to experiment with new tools and discover new ways of dealing with the ups and down of life that don’t involve food? Are you ready to laugh out loud, gasp in amazement, shake your head in wonderment and maybe even to shed a few tears? The 1 Year Programme is fun and life changing and it is also challenging and requires commitment and willingness to do the work. Otherwise you’re just wasting your time and your money.
There are very few places available on this programme, so that we make sure we ca give you all the personal support and guidance you need. On this year’s programme (2012/13) we have just 4 spaces available.
Great. Here’s more…
We will be kicking off our 1 Year Programme with our new Beyond Temptation Workshop, based on our brand new book (of the same title, funnily enough) in London on 13th October, followed by a completely amazing like-nothing-you’ve-never-experienced intensive Retreat in the stunning Worcester countryside which takes place from Wednesday 14 November to Sunday 18th November?
Can you make it?
You can! Brilliant.
Beyond Chocolate has really changed my ideas about food and eating, I know that I won’t ever diet again & I will apply everything I have discovered and learnt about myself and my relationship with food, to my life. I never felt on my own, I felt totally supported and encouraged by Beyond Chocolate. I would recommend this to anyone, who has issues with food or body image, it’s been an incredible experience. Pam Curtis

“I am learning to explore my relationship with food and to rediscover an unadulterated enjoyment of it. I know now that I can value myself physically in the here and now, rather than waiting for that mythical time in the future when I am slim and perfect. I love the way that Sophie and Audrey talk about food in such a passionately positive way, while understanding what it’s like on the ‘dark side’.” Becky, Norfolk
What’s the cost?
You pay for the whole 1 Year Programme up front, including the Retreat:
£2750 (£500 deposit now, with the balance payable no later than 17 Sept)
